About Me
A Brief Biography of Stormtrooper TD-110

The only thing most people know about me is that I let a couple of droids go about 30 years ago on Tattooine.
That might make a funny story for Rebel sympathizers, but it’s not the whole story of who I am. The truth is, I’m just a guy who spent his life standing up for a cause bigger than myself.
I was born on Parsh in around 18 BBY. Honestly, I don’t even know my own birth date. My childhood years were just spent trying to survive until the Empire showed up.
I’ll never forget the first time I ever laid eyes on a stormtrooper. After years of eeking out a living in the harsh grey dirt, those gleaming white uniforms were a beacon of hope. Our salvation had come. They gave us work and purpose and hot meals. It was the first time I ever felt safe.
When I looked old enough, I left the mines and enlisted in the Imperial Military’s youth training program. They shipped me off to the Academy, where I found discipline and stability. It was tough, to be sure, but this was the life for me.
After an intensive 2 years of training, my unit was assigned to the Devastator. We spent most of the time in drills preparing for whatever threats might pop up. If we did get off the ship, it was typically peacekeeping and humanitarian missions.
Personally, I found it highly rewarding to inspire the younglings of each world. We would show up, put them to work, and move on to the next planet the Emporer wanted to rescue from chaos.
But, sadly some of our citizens couldn’t be satisfied with peace and security. A group of malcontent terrorists calling themselves the Rebel Alliance began stirring up dissent among some of the outer-rim systems. This, of course, erupted into the full-blown Galactic Civil War, followed by the complete disaster that was the “New Republic.”
After the war, Imperials throughout the galaxy went into hiding. Many of us made our way to the few systems left under our protection. The New Republic didn’t have the desire or resources to keep those systems safe from lawlessness, so they pretty much left us alone.
It was a dark time under a chaotic government that never could get its act together. People who were once protected and well-fed were now starving to death, afraid for their lives. It’s ironic that they hated our “repressive” regime so much with all its rules and systemic organization, but had no real plan for what would follow after they tore it down.
But, Imperials are a patient lot. And a couple of decades later, a ray of hope started shining again. A group of former Imperials along with a new generation of sensible leaders were determined to bring order back to the Galaxy.
